Inspiration
Chicago is a very big city and knowing what events are happening in and around it can be a hassle sometimes. This website would solve this problem for those new to Chicago or those just looking to do something different.
What it does
Shows the user all events going on in Chicago, related to entertainment. The user can filter out what type of events they wan to be shown, to create a better and more intuitive experience.
How we built it
We built a mock website with Figma, to showcase its design and potential. Additionally, we programmed the website with html and css.
Challenges we ran into
Originally wanted to build a mobile app, but switched to website due to lack of experience in mobile app development.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Building a solid project despite the limitations we faced.
What we learned
We learned about the process of developing an app from scratch, and working with people we don't know.
What's next for 'Sup CHI
'Sup CHI could turn into a more feasible project if given more time and proper funding for it.
