Inspiration
In the face of global challenges like food security and sustainability, we were inspired to create Z-Krishi, a tool that marries technology with traditional farming practices. It’s designed for anyone passionate about cultivating their own food, from experienced farmers to beginners.
What it does
Z-Krishi simplifies farming through a user-friendly Dashboard that provides real-time, actionable insights. It offers guidance on watering schedules, weather conditions, and trending crops, making sustainable farming accessible to everyone.
How we built it
Our journey began with the vision to make farming practical and accessible. We developed a prototype that demonstrated its versatility and utility in different settings, incorporating features like the Community platform and the Market Place for organic produce.
Challenges we ran into
Integrating real-time weather updates and creating a dynamic, user-friendly interface were among our challenges. Ensuring the app's adaptability to various environmental conditions also tested our ingenuity.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of creating a platform that not only supports the Sustainable Development Goals of Zero Hunger and Good Health but also fosters a supportive Community of like-minded individuals. Our Market Place initiative, promoting organic farming, stands as a testament to our commitment to a healthier planet.
What we learned
Through this journey, we've learned about the importance of user-centered design in technology, the challenges of implementing real-time data, and the power of community in achieving sustainability goals.
What's next for Z-Krishi
Moving forward, Z-Krishi is set for expansion, with plans to include multilingual support and integrate AI-based insights for more precise farming guidance. We aim to scale our impact from local communities to a global audience, embracing and enhancing sustainable farming practices worldwide.
Thank you for your attention. Together, with Z-Krishi, let’s cultivate a sustainable and food-secure future.
