Inspiration
Climate Change is a big issue right now so our project tackles it.
What it does
People can host trash cleanups anywhere in the US and people can email them to sign up. We also have a interactive map, where people can see how much waste each state produces per person.
How we built it
We used HTML , CSS, and Bootstrap
Challenges we ran into
Making the map interactive; difficult because we needed to make a div for each state
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Able to create a usable form which gets sent and having a map which is interactive.
What we learned
How to use w3forms to connect the form to my email. We also learned how to make pop ups.
What's next for TrashZero
We are going to add a rating system where people can rate certain trash cleanups. Also, people can be able to sign up on the actual website.
