Our inspiration was to promote a healthy work-life balance. This website allows users to connect with people they haven't interacted with and discuss accomplishments. We built it using a combination of MySQL, Apache, Bootstrap, Cloudflare, HTML, PHP, and CSS. This project was a massive undertaking for the time we were given and although we knew we wouldn't be able to fit everything there were some things we had to leave out. One of our biggest challenges was trying to host our server on a rebuilt Windows 8 computer, eventually, we were unable to boot our renovated PC into Windows and were forced to switch plans. Furthermore, our MySQL database was extremely difficult to implement profile pictures. Our biggest mistake was having 3 data tables inside our database, because of this we had to recreate our database to store 2 data tables instead which set us behind. We are extremely proud of the effort we put into this project, and how it turned out. This project was extremely important to us because it demonstrated that although we might not have all of the immediate necessary we are still able to accomplish great things. In these 36 hours, we learned databases, PHP, CSS, and frameworks. We hope to continue Timeline into the future and help connect people's accomplishments.
