Inspiration
Learning is always enjoyable, especially when expressed as a story.
What it does
A website that offers a story about the solar system so that elementary school students can better understand it.
How we built it
Designed the website with basic HTML, JS, and CSS.
Challenges we ran into
Challenges in getting fun animated visuals and an expressive narrator for storytelling.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Proud of designing a side challenge separate from the main and being able to come up with a basic, yet engaging and useful idea for learning.
What we learned
Considering things from a kid's point of view can make learning enjoyable.
What's next for Solar Tales
Implement an NLP framework to create dynamic stories depending on the children's interests for improved learning. Use a more effective text-to-speech narrative technology, similar to how my grandma used to tell me stories.
