Inspiration

Our inspiration stems from the stark educational inequalities faced by marginalized communities due to inadequate funding. We aim to bridge the knowledge gap and promote accessible education for all, including underrepresented areas such as adult education in topics like tax payments, by providing an easy-to-use, comprehensive learning utility.

What it does

Our AI-powered learning app generates comprehensive lesson plans instantly on any topic, empowering individuals to learn simply and engagingly. It aims to make quality education accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances.

How we built it

To push the boundaries of AI-driven education, we developed a groundbreaking approach that combines the power of cutting-edge chatbot technologies with an innovative method of merging their outputs. By recursively decomposing the complex task of lesson plan creation into smaller, more manageable subtasks, we enabled the chatbots to generate highly specific and accurate information. Additionally, we integrated Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques, empowering the chatbot to provide up-to-date answers and leverage real-time web searches to enhance its knowledge and reasoning capabilities. Through the synergistic application of these advanced techniques, we successfully pushed chatbots beyond their conventional limits, enabling them to generate comprehensive and coherent lesson plans. To further support the learning process, we incorporated relevant YouTube video content and implemented AI-generated progress checks, ensuring an engaging and interactive educational experience for students.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges we encountered was ensuring the accuracy, relevance, and quality of the AI-generated lesson plans across a wide range of topics. We had to carefully curate and preprocess chatbot outputs, implement robust filtering mechanisms, and incorporate user feedback loops to continuously refine the AI's output
