Inspiration

A Circular Plastic Credit (CPC) is a financial instrument designed to incentivize the recycling of plastics and promote a circular economy. The concept revolves around creating a market for recycled plastics similar to carbon credits in the context of carbon emissions trading.

The ultimate goal of Circular Plastic Credits is to reduce plastic pollution, promote recycling, and create a closed-loop system where plastic waste is continuously reused rather than discarded. However, it's essential for these credits to be implemented effectively with robust monitoring and verification mechanisms to ensure that they genuinely contribute to sustainability goals.
