Inspiration

We were inspired by the lack of recommended movie based on the genres that we like to watch.

What it does

The user takes a quiz which has a series of questions, each answer correlates to different increments of different genres. As the user takes the quiz the questions will change to better differentiate between the genres.

How we built it

Using python and html.

Challenges we ran into

Making the website was difficult and making the HTML communicate with the python script.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created a working quiz of 10 questions that displays the users 10 recommended films and a spider graph showing there different genre weights.

What we learned

We have learned more about how to use and format webpages.

What's next for MovieMatch

To increase the database of possible questions to be able to more accurately depict a users favourite genres. To increase the quiz to include tv series as well.
