Inspiration

London Doctor Shortage.

What it does

In 2023, there were 110,781 vacancies in secondary care in England. That means an absurd amount of people’s much-needed medical attention wasn’t available when needed. Our team at Medifier thinks that this issue is unnecessary, too many people with minor problems are taking up medical professionals' attention, while people who desperately need attention suffer in the waiting room. Medifier aims to combat this by giving an easy-to-use, fast alternative for people with minor medical issues to get attention so that people in dire need of medical attention can be treated first.

How we built it

Used SQLite, Python, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, and JS

Challenges we ran into

The Database and utilizing the mixture of HTML and Python was very difficult.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of our functioning login and doctor/appointment database.

What we learned

We learned a lot about SQLite databases and the people in our group who are newer learned a lot about Bootstrap. We learned how to communicate as a team, and learned how to bring the best out of all of us through next-level project management.
