Inspiration
Our inspiration was from the DiamondHacks route lost at sea, where we literally tried to develop a web application which could figure out one's coordinates based on the stars
What it does
The website outputs the coordinates of someone based on their planetary and star patterns
How we built it
Built it with HTML, JavaScript, CSS
Challenges we ran into
We ran into the MERN stack, something that me and Kinish couldn't learn on time because of being amateurs in this field, being our first Hackathon. Instead of using MERN and Backend, we shifted the entire project to the frontend
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of learning HTML, JavaScript, and CSS in one night to make our website, and even though this is our first time, we feel like we have become decently good at it.
What we learned
We learned how to persevere and submit a final project and try our best, how to work as a team, how to learn things without previous knowledge, and how to do HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
What's next for Lost At Sea
Submit project, rest up, and improve our CS skills with more hackathons and projects.
