My inspiration originates from my own journey, marked by personal struggles and the realization of the gaps in mental health support. Through my experiences, I was driven to create a solution that addresses these challenges, offering empathy, understanding, and guidance to others facing similar struggles.

What it does

Izhar, your go-to app for confessing your thoughts in a minimalist and engaging environment. With Izhar, you can express yourself freely, connect with others, and engage in meaningful conversations.

How we built it

I built Izhar leveraging the versatility of Flutter within Android Studio for seamless cross-platform development. My choice of Firebase as the backend infrastructure ensures robust data management, real-time synchronization, and secure authentication. Integrating the Gemini API adds a powerful chatbot feature, enabling natural language interactions and personalized responses, thereby enhancing user engagement and satisfaction.

Challenges we ran into

Integrating Flutter with the Gemini API posed initial complexity due to differences in frameworks and APIs and lack of tutorials as it is still very new in market.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud to have successfully integrated Gemini with Flutter, tailoring it to provide personalized responses, effectively transforming Izhar into a supportive mental health expert. This accomplishment not only enhances user engagement but also underscores our commitment to leveraging technology for positive impact and well-being.

What we learned

What's next for Izhar

I will be taking our chatbot to the next level by transforming it into an AR mental health companion. This innovative upgrade will provide users with an immersive and interactive experience, offering personalized support and guidance in real-time.
