Inspiration

Trying out different API to get a better understanding. learning how to customize output according to my choices .

What it does

It shows you the name and picture of the plants of various species colors

How we built it

Flask ,Python requests, html initially i thought of using JavaScript but since i love python i gave it my best with a beginner level of frontend .

Challenges we ran into

I had some knowledge about JavaScript but never used python and it was easier to get info rather than showcasing it frontend but i managed to make it presentable( i hope).

Accomplishments that we're proud of

As a beginner i am proud of using something i am not well acquainted with and i hope i keep on exploring things and not fear away just because i don't know the technology.

What we learned

Trying and testing leads to failure and failure leads to understanding. keep your private keys(tokens) PRIVATE.

What's next for FloraFlash

In future i would like to make it like a random plant generator that gives you a flower according to your birth month ,date ,mood .maybe showcase its species and other characteristics .
