Inspiration

Learning how to make a LinkedIn account and knowing that this is a service that is not provided elsewhere.

What it does

It allows employees to check on a possible or current employee's internet presence by searching up their name and collecting all possible social media URLs(assuming they have one that is publicly available).

How we built it

I built it from the ground up starting with the backend as that is the most complicated part and the part I am most experienced with. I watched a lot of youtube to learn the skills and knowledge neccesary to build this project.

Challenges we ran into

Learning all the languages associated with this program and needing to use Google's custom search engine API to properly test the site, as well as balancing my time spent on this and time spent in school .

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Learning how to use Google's custom search engine API and actually having a complete product before the deadline

What we learned

How to balance my school life with the time needed for this project while still having the proper mental breaks

What's next for Evil Scientist Search

Hopefully being able to scrape profile pictures and confirm user profiles with their social media accounts using Facial Recognition
