Connect4Good

Inspiration

I was looking to build something useful for the society. So, i came up with a Social Media Platform Idea and immediately dropped it because it was too common and then i thought of building a simple app to connect users and social groups.

What it does

Connect4Good does many things, such as:- 1.) Social Groups, NGO's, Communities etc can publish social projects such as Food Distribution for children, spreading awareness on social issue etc 2.) User's can view, read and show interest on these projects published by the Social Groups 3.) User's can update social handles, view all the projects marked interested by them at one place on profile page. 4.) Similarly, Social Groups can view all their published projects along with the user's details who have shown the interest on that particular project on profile page. 5) Finally, Social Groups can filter out user's and connect with them on their Social Handle's for further work.

How we built it

I have built it with:- [Nextjs, MongoDB, ShadcnUi, JWT]

Challenges we ran into

One of the difficult part was to connect all the models together to get the correct information for both User and Social Groups, Dynamic social handle update, same page's for different account type's such as user and group

Accomplishments that we're proud of

i've completed it with every feature i thought of and i am really proud of that, and that too in a day.

What's next for Connect4Good

I'll continue with the development because i have more ideas and features in my mind to implement such as handling more social situations, handling and verifying every user and more
