Inspiration
Seeing the kilter board at my local Rock Climbing gym interested me in the technology.
What it does
Allows climbers to create, discover, and share custom climbing paths for interactive rock walls and climbing routes.
How we built it
We built the front end using Bootstrap with Flask and a mySQL database for the backend.
Challenges we ran into
Scope creep. We had many ideas, but when it came to the actual amount of work they would be it could easily prove to be too much at times.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We implemented a complex data solution for the database and back end.
What we learned
Front end and web design is much harder and more complex than I had previously thought. For many of us we learned Flask from the basics.
What's next for Climb Craft
We need to complete the front end and fully connect the front and back end with testing.
