Inspiration

So after trying bunch of unsuccessful project I was lying on bed and watching shark tank investor interview in which he told how he tried building ai doctor but that time it was too early and he didn't knew coding. So after listening this word ai doctor i started researching about it, and i came up with product roadmap.

What it does

Currently It's not usable but once it is ready it can add a layer before general doctor. So there are three layer 1. general doctor, 2. specialist 3. sub specialist. Most of the patient visit to general doctor who charges 1000-3000 rs per session. Most college kid, and people can't afford it. So this ai doctor will add a layer before general doctor, they can consult this ai doctor, if ai doctor ask them to consult to general doctor then only they should visit

How we built it

Currently it is just using gemini api (yes no openai, because I really don't have money to spend)

Challenges we ran into

there are lot of challenges I encountered

  1. i wanted real human type voice, i tried using google cloud speech api, but because of credit or debit card i wasn't able to use it
  2. second challenge was how will this image will going to move hands, eyes. I accomplished this challenge by using rive animation tool
  3. I used free things available on internet. I wanted to use doctor animation but i didn't get that for free so i used bear instead (which was free)

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  1. I came up with whole product roadmap, research, website, app in just some days

What we learned

  1. I learnt alot of things about telehealth.
  2. I understood how to see industries at macro level, trends going on

What's next for caremate

So i just pitched this idea to shark tank investor (yes the same person from whom i got this idea). I really want to build this product full time. I want to provide everyone access to doctor. Currently this is worse than anything. But i wanted to make this product useful and available to pregnant woman, poor or college students (can you just go through blog you will get better idea about it)
