🌟 Inspiration

The inspiration behind CardeB stems from the common challenges individuals face in managing and exchanging business cards, connecting on LinkedIn, and facilitating quick and easy transactions. Traditional business cards can easily be lost or misplaced, making it difficult to retrieve important contact information. Moreover, connecting on professional platforms like LinkedIn can be cumbersome, and making payments seamlessly is often a challenge.

CardeB: The One-Stop Shop for all of your business needs

CardeB aims to address these issues by providing a comprehensive solution that not only facilitates the exchange of business cards but also streamlines the process of connecting on LinkedIn and conducting transactions through a simple tap on the phone.

Introducing Meta Cards, abstract card storage container that can be either traditional media based cards, or action- based. Through our novel idea, you can share almost any "card" or prompt a peer-to-peer interaction with just one tap- connecting on social media, requesting an Apple Pay payment, or sharing digital business cards.

CardeB is a Swift application with a Django backend that serves as a unified platform for sharing business cards, LinkedIn profiles, and other social media posts. Additionally, it enables users to make transactions between phones effortlessly by leveraging features like Apple Pay.

Key features of CardeB include:

  • Business Card Sharing: Users can easily exchange digital business cards, reducing the risk of losing important contact information.

  • Tap-to-Pay: CardeB facilitates transactions between phones through a simple tap, leveraging the convenience of Apple Pay.

CardeB is built using Swift for the frontend, creating an intuitive and user-friendly mobile application. The backend is powered by Django, ensuring a robust and scalable server-side architecture. The integration with Apple Pay for tap-to-pay functionality adds a layer of convenience for users.

The development process involves designing a clean and appealing user interface for the app, implementing secure backend functionalities for data storage and retrieval, and integrating seamless communication between devices for tap-to-pay transactions.
