Inspiration

Want to improve how campuses deal with student concerns when it comes to safety, tech, or any social events.

Allows students to post their concerns/suggestions so that a student governing body can filter by topic and address them accordingly.

Used React.js to build frontend, used express.js and mySQL to create a database.

First time experience with database proved to be difficult to integrate frontend with backend.

Very refined, sleek frontend

Learned how to create a database, set up email authentication, complex javascript.

Integrating frontend with backend for a better feed experience (storing posts across all devices, not just locally)

I worked on the front-end design with Palina. I am familiar with React prior to the Hackathon, and utilized this for our project. I connected the site to Firebase for email verification and set up the domain.

I worked on the frontend with Michelle, I was familiar with Node and React prior to the Hackathon. After we refined our site, I created a backend server and it was my first time using express.js and MySQL to create a database
