How we Built it

Inclusifi is built on the massively popular and proven Plaid API to communicate with most major banks and harnesses the power of GPT 3.5. The drop-dead gorgeous front-end was built with Next.js and customized so that you will never get tired of looking at the UI.

Challenges We Ran Into

This project contained a lot of firsts for the team. Challenges we ran into were mainly the backend, working with the server and the authentication tokens. The backend, while written in Python, used libraries that we were not familiar with. The Plaid API is massive, and the process to implement the features we wanted, like transferring funds through the AI, consisted of creating a transfer authentication token and then using that token for the final transfer. And we also had to work on the AI talking with the Plaid API.

Accomplishments We’re Proud Of

Many of us have built small webapps before but never to this extent and in such a short period of time. Inclusifi has been a fantastic learning experience for all of us. We developed a great tool that anyone can gain financial knowledge and manage their finances all in one.

What We Learned

We learned about integrating ChatGpt and AI into our application. We learned more about backend capabilities and working with servers.

What’s Next

Working out the kinks and remaining issues with the app is what we want to do next. Over the hackathon we became very passionate and wanted this project to succeed more than anything. And we’d like to continue working on it.
